  1. Get 1/4 kg rajma
  2. Make ready 2 tablespoon gram flour(besan)
  3. Take 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
  4. Make ready 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder
  5. Prepare 1/2 teaspoon chilli chicken powder
  6. Make ready 1/4 teaspoon salt or to taste
  7. Make ready 4 cups water for boiling
  8. Make ready 1/4 liter oil for frying
  9. Prepare 1/4 cup tomato sauce
Instructions to make Healthy Rajma Pakoda:
  1. Soak Rajma overnight. In a pressure cooker add soaked Rajma with sufficient water and salt to taste and pressure cook for 10 minutes.
  2. When the pressure subsides, check the Rajma is boiled well. Drain the water using a colander. Boiled water can be used for any gravies or can make soup out of it.
  3. To the boiled Rajma,add gram flour(besan), chilli powder, garam masala powder, chilli chicken powder and salt to taste. Add enough water and mix thoroughly. Flour should be coated well as shown in the picture.
  4. Heat oil in a pan on a medium heat and spoon in Rajma and fry until it turns golden brown.
  5. Transfer to an absorbent paper to remove excess oil. Serve hot with tomato sauce or can have as it is. Healthy snack for an evening with a planned overnight soaking of Rajma is essential.
  6. Ready to serve and ENJOY!
